"The 2nd International Folk Arts and Culture Festival"
At 12:00 PM on November 7, 2022, at Kraburi Witthaya School, Chae Subdistrict, Kraburi District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, the people of Nakhon Ratchasima welcomed visiting artists from 17 countries participating in the International Folk Arts and Culture Festival. 2. The group traveled to participate in activities promoting international folk arts and culture. The Khon Buri district, as the host, prepared a variety of folk art performances, as well as local food and desserts, to welcome the group in a beautiful and spectacular manner.
The visiting folk artists from 17 countries exchanged arts, culture, and wisdom for the New Normal society. They also presented the "Diamond of Asia" award at the 2nd Korat International Folklor Festival to Mr. Nusit Porncheewachot, Director of Kraburi Witthaya School. Furthermore, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed with the Chae Subdistrict Municipality to promote cultural tourism, boost the local economy, and foster local cultural awareness. This aims to leverage the power of "Son Power" to create value through community-based projects managed using the "Bovorn" (Buddhist, Community, and Royal) mechanism for future development. In addition, folk dance and music performances from representatives of all 17 countries were showcased to promote wider recognition of these traditions.
